I'm still an occasional visitor to dA. I'm not gonna say dA was a particularly special part of my life or anything, but I met and chatted to some interesting people, and seen a lot of good art.
I've been going through some paticularly tough sh*z over the last couple of years, since I joined dA two years ago. Actually since 2005. (Well, the last 13 years, if I'm honest.) I suffer from long-term depression on and off. But now: Finally, finally managing to shift some of the crap.
This is not goodbye exactly. I'm keeping the account. And I may even do something with it in future. If nothing else I occasionally see artwork online that is done by dA artists, and it's good to log in and tell them how great it is. I also have tons (probably literally in tems of weight of paper) of doodles and fictional maps I keep meaning to scan and put up online. As well as other stuff.
In the mean time, keep the faith, fight the power. And as they say in Ireland: "Slán agus beannacht".
